Suffolk estate agent sails through choppy waters

NELSON undoubtedly had better days, but as the nation marks the 200th anniversary of his victory over the French on Trafalgar Day [Oct. 21st], a Sudbury firm has extra cause for celebration.

BYchoice estate agency, founded on October 21st last year, has weathered choppy waters in the property market over the past 12 months, and has sailed through without too many hitches or men overboard. It’s been a very busy time for the man at the helm, founding director Todd Lewis, who opened a second office in Long Melford in June with Clare Steadman as branch manager, particularly as both offices are open seven days a week.

“Conditions haven’t been easy”, said Mr. Lewis. “There have been big fluctuations in activity in the housing market, which has made life interesting, but we’re demonstrating our confidence in the future by taking on a new negotiator, Tom Lister, who will share the load as business expands.”

Tom aged 23 and from Halstead, has six years experience in the property business with firms in Cambridge, Long Melford and Bury St. Edmunds.
