Nick attributes the popularity of holidays in Portugal to the wide variety of affordable hotels in the Algarve and the high quality of the Algarve’s resorts. Because of the variety of places to stay, Portugal appeals to a wide range of holidaymakers.

Nick says: “Portugal offers very good value for money. The Algarve appeals to the same people who love Italy because of the high standard of the restaurants and beaches, but Portugal is so much cheaper to holiday in than Italy.”
