New 200 metre long image support further enhances Xerox 6279 wide format solution

Xerox today announced “long image support” for the Xerox 6279â„¢ wide format solution. This unique new feature allows printing of up to 200 metre long documents on plain paper up to 36″ wide. Long image support further enhances the Xerox 6279 allowing it to address applications such as wiring diagrams, railway signalling, road planning, seismic data and well logs.

“Customers are working in more demanding environments requiring more features from our solutions.” said Howard Witt, Wide Format Manager, Xerox Europe, “The addition of this new long document support feature will allow users to meet even more of their customers’ requirements.”

Long image support is a standard feature of the Freeflow Accxes Controller and will be available to both new and existing Xerox 6279 customers at no extra cost.

The Xerox 6279â„¢ Wide Format Printer is a mid range black-and-white digital printer, copier and scanner which features sharp image quality, fast speed, a compact footprint and low running costs. The system is flexible enough to fit in a variety of environments, including commercial print shops and architectural, engineering and construction companies. Its speed – printing seven or nine A1prints per minute – makes it one of the most productive products in its class.
