Central and Eastern European cities with currencies outside the Euro are experiencing a surge in popularity as holidaymakers look for bargain European city breaks.

Weekend breaks in Prague, Budapest and Krakow are particularly popular.  All three destinations have regular flights from airports across the UK and offer an attractive mix of culture and nightlife – at more than reasonable prices.

Krakow
The medieval Krakow Old Town is small and welcoming, dominated by the Old Town Square which is ringed by bars and eateries.

Krakow is famous for its atmospheric, subterranean bars is now home to some of the most most fashionable shops in Poland.

Budapest
Budapest is famously two cities separated by the Danube, Budapest has doubled as Paris in many films – and it’s easy to see when touring the grand boulevards of Pest. 

The Viennese coffee houses and Turkish baths that can be found all over the city are another incentive to take Budapest citybreak.
